Mon Otage (2023)

Description:
A boy, born in a land of light, erroneously fails to realise the existence of other people while growing up. Years later, when coming across with the meaning of the word ‘alone’, he decides of a rather surreal way to claim and secure the long-delayed attention, care and love he has been missing. ‘Mon Otage’, a work based on autobiographical fiction, explores unfulfilled promises of affection and acceptance between men within various types of relationships in an altered reality.

The result derives through a progressive, co-creative process between the choreographer/performer and the composer/musician.
